Welcome to Royal Arch Research Assistance (R.A.R.A.)
Founded in 1974, R.A.R.A. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to advancing research and solutions for Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD). Through partnerships with esteemed organizations like the Hearing Health Foundation and Autism Speaks, we fund pioneering researchers focused on understanding CAPD, its relationship with Autism, and its impact on Service Members.
Unlike organizations that fund treatment centers, R.A.R.A. focuses on fostering research that sets scientists on lifelong paths to combat CAPD and related conditions.

What is Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD)?
What Dyslexia is to the eyes, CAPD is to the ears. This condition affects how individuals interpret sounds, especially speech, due to a misalignment between the ears and the brain. Understanding CAPD is the first step toward improving the lives of those impacted.
